Simply plug it into a computer and drag WAV files onto it! Go a little further with free software and each channel gives you 3 sounds assigned to degrees of velocity. Great for *very* realistic drum sounds or special effects -- also it can be used for entire backing tracks. I had been using it with a pitch shifter as a portable (and slappable) "upright bass." This is such a great device, but I just don't use it enough anymore.
