But you need WiFi for EVERYTHINGMay 7, 2020Well, this tv is exactly what it says. A Roku smart tv. It very easy set up and of course you can cast your phone to the tv. But that where my issue comes in. I was under the impression you didn have to be connected to the internet to cast your phone because ya know, it basically Bluetooth! my sisters tv is a regular smart tv and we don need WiFi. I got the Roku tv because i thought it was an all in one. But you do need internet connection for literally everything you do on this tv.I like it, but then again don. I have 4 kids under the age of 10, and I wanted to cast the phone to the tv so they could watch without actually touching anything except my oldest daughters phone. But again, you need WiFi.
