It is definitely only tough enough for leaves and is going to wear out at some point, as one can't avoid sucking up sticks in a pile of leaves, which are going to slowly damage the blade. It is definitely only tough enough for leaves and is going to wear out at some point, as one can't avoid sucking up sticks in a pile of leaves, which are going to slowly damage the blade. This is a case of a manufacturer saving $3 on a product by going with plastic instead of steel that will reduce its durability by a lot (but maybe the extra weight of a metal impeller would have reduced the power). I've put about six hours of use on my unit over two fall seasons and I'm guessing I'll get maybe three to four more seasons out of it (definitely not a lifetime product, but still a very good value given its price and functionality).- When mulching, small sticks (even heavy stems from large maple leaves) can build up and get stuck in the impeller blade, requiring a few stops to clean out - remember to unplug unit when doing so.- Bag could be a bit bigger and have a better strap to put over one's shoulder- Zipper on bag did not have a proper end stop, came all the way unzipped and would not re-zip fully. However, I mostly cured this with a couple of safety pins to stop the zipper from coming off again and only lost about 1" of bag opening.CONCLUSION:This blower/vac works surprisingl Number Of Pieces:2
