Product DescriptionThe Superfortress was used extensively in the China/Burma/India theatre, the SW Pacific during WWII and later in the Korean conflict. Although it was used at low altitude over Japan, it was designed and built as a high altitude, long range strategic heavy bomber capable of carrying a 9070kg bomb payload. Defensive armament included 4 remotely controlled turrets, each utilising two .50 calibre machine guns. Features: Bomb load, complete interior, Hamilton Standard hydromatic propellers. 1:48 Scale.
