The Ludwig 5" x 14" Hammered Acrolite Snare Drum is a variation on one of the most popular drums ever made. Featuring a seamless, beaded, brushed aluminum shell, this drum is known for its dry and cracking sound that put it on so many recordings. This version of the Acrolite is heavily hammered, giving the shell a brighter reflective sheen and causing the sound to be moderately warmer and more complex than a smooth shell. This drum comes equipped with bowtie lugs, a P85 throw-off, and a Blue/Olive badge.
