While the first one is still functional, it began gobbling batteries after 18 months or so (from what I can tell I'm not the only one to experience this). Fresh Duracells would last 10 days tops in endurance mode, 14 days if I remembered to switch the mouse off when not in use.I'm not a gamer but, wanted an accurate wireless mouse that could be used for some gaming, photo editing, and general use. Initially, I was getting several months battery life in the 'endurance' mode while still having a precision mouse.I find the G602 to be an extremely comfortable mouse to use for several hours at a time. The top buttons and scroll wheel are all very easy to use and have never given me an issue. While the side buttons are a bit harder for me to accurately hit without looking at (this may be due to the size of my hand or the fact I don't use those as often). The Logitech software is pretty straight forward and I like the ability to program the buttons to my own preferences. When I went to replace my old G602, I looked at the RZR and Corsair mice. In the end, I didn't need a RGB mouse and the fact I was able to get a new G602 for roughly half the price of the other wireless 'gaming' mice convinced me to give it another try.So far I've gotten 3 weeks from the initial batteries and they seem to be going strong. One of my favorite features is the ability to change your sensitivity on the fly. Move across the screen(s) rapidly and then hold a button to lower your sensitivity for precise positioning (great for photo editing or FPS games).I'd consider this a mid-level gaming mouse or a feature packed wireless mouse for everyday use. ;LessMike P · Review provided by
