Not only does this give him plenty of space to still be at his desk down there, it's great that it converts into a bed. Sometimes he uses it himself to be closer to our pets, other times it's a gaming or reading chair. My pre-teen says it's actually very comfortable and he really likes that it has arm rests. I was a little bit concerned before I purchased it that this chair would be too low to the ground, but my son hasn't complained about this at all. Seems to be just about the right height for him to lounge in comfort. This has been a great, versatile piece in his room. It was pretty easy to set up, I will have to probably tighten the arms soon... but otherwise it has been a really good purchase. ***I'm editing ... ;MoreI purchased this for my son's room after he got a loft bed. The arms constantly need tightening. It's still an ok piece of furniture, but not for heavy use. ;LessGingerInAlabama · Review provided by Overstock.comAll Reviews
