3T ARX LTD Stealth Stem 130mm

When it comes to the ARX LTD stem, 3T prefers to turn heads with function, not form. The stem looks fairly conventional, with two bolts securing the stem to the steerer, and four bolts and a faceplate locking the handlebars to the stem. If you pick it up, you’ll know something is special. It weighs 118g (in the 110mm length) thanks to the stem being fabricated out of carbon-fiber. The bolts are titanium. The shape, which looks like a round tube, is actually squared off for greater torsional rigidity. The name, Arx, is Latin for stronghold or bridge, is designed to work with both carbon-fiber steerers and handlebars, and the precise shapes both front and rear, when clamped to the recommended torque spec, yield higher force than the CEN standards specify. The stem can work with any 1 1/8” steerer regardless of material, and any 31.8mm handlebar regardless of material. The stem is a flip-flop design and can be arrayed to be plus or minus six degrees. The steerer tube clamp is 40mm tall. The 3T ARX LTD Stem is the cherry of a light, strong bike build.
