On a clear and sunny day I noticed that a plywood edge was delaminating and bulging up about an inch only hour after installation. I screwed it down with a deck screw and installed GAF matting over the plywood. The next day it rained and the exterior grade plywood delaminated in two more sheets of wood approximately 6 inches by 20 inches. I had to cut out the large delaminated wood bubble which was about 3/16 thick. This damage was in not on the edge of the plywood and would have ruined my new shingle work.
