The yarn has a nice twist to it so it works just as well with lace and cables as it does with stockinette and garter stitch. I got two sets for Christmas ( greens and the jelly bean set) both are gorgeous and they look great together. I look forward to knitting a nice stripey slouchy hat and matching fingerless gloves.
