I play online games & stream videos alot & it's just as good as the 25 foot eithernet cable I was previously using. I got the same results when checking my internet ping, download & upload speeds through a internet speed-test website.Our router is downstairs & about 15-18 feet away & I usually have 4 out of 5 signal bars. Lowest I seen it drop was 2 bars but it's usually at a solid 4. I have it plugged directly into the back of my PC, I could probably get a bit stronger signal using the adapter it came with but really doesn't seem necessary.If I didn't mind paying a little extra, I'd have gone with the Netgear N900 or AC1200 model which are better suited for online gaming & hd video streaming.
