Using the controls attached by laser etching, you can set the rebound stage at the start and end stroke as well as the low-speed compression stage, so that this damper races just as playfully over scree as over suddenly occurring terrain drop. Counter MeasureThe new Vivid is designed for the best of you and offers some features previously considered impossible. With technologies like Counter Measure, where the breakaway resistance of the damper is practically reduced to zero, small shots become a soft track with perfect traction. Dual Flow AdjustDFA is a bit like Glam Metal. Two things that don't really fit together at all, but harmonize in a magical way. Suppose you're driving on a course with monstrous descents and countless blows that slow you down. Normally you would have to adjust your suspension fork to one of the two features. But here RockShox DFA refuses and uses its independent dual damping circuits to be prepared for both. So strong shocks are absorbed and the ride is still soft enough for the small shocks. Rapid RecoveryWho doesn't want more available wheel travel for successive hits? Thanks to the Rapid Recovery System, the damper returns to its original position more quickly after successive strokes, allowing the wheel to grip the ground more precisely. This more active damping system won’t fail and provides a ride with higher and softer spring hardness.
