This new version of the XX1 crankset retains its stiff, carbon fiber construction of the original. The crankarms are available in either 170mm or 175mm, depending on your preference. SRAM's direct mount chainrings utilize X-Xync technology, with its alternating wide/narrow teeth for confidence-inspiring chain retention. While this crankarm system adds versatility to your SRAM drivetrain, and the generous 168mm q-factor leaves even more chainring options available, it's worth noting that this version only works with BB30 bottom brackets, and therefore GXP-specific direct mount chainrings are incompatible.
