DetailThe Softech Filipe Toledo Wildfire is Filipe's first signature board since joining the Softech Ambassador Program. This clever little board sits on it's own as a more refined and performance oriented softboard than most of its counterparts in the range. If you've had the pleasure of watching Filipe surf you'll have an idea of what this board is all about; the FT Wildfire is all about fast and loose surfing, the ability to hack the top off a few and 'tuck in' should the opportunity arise. The hybrid shortboard outline, FCS II thruster fin system, belly channel and diamond tail equip the board to access steeper and hollower waves and be more than comfortable in the critical part of the wave. The FT Wildfire foam surfboard is constructed with an ultra light double sided slick with custom rails unique to the board. The X-Density Core is 100% waterproof and adds structure and stability to the boards flex pattern. Multilayered composite stringers are reinforced with resin which adds stiffness and flex memory which helps the Softech boards perform more like a traditional PU surfboard. The slicks are reinforced with X-Mesh which significantly strengthens the skin and guarantees the boards longevity and structural integrity. The FT Wildfire is fitted with FCS II fin plugs so you can customize your board to suit your size and riding style. “it’s nice to reconnect with the ocean in a super relaxed and fun way. It's relatively short length and high volume make it ideal for someone who wants a fun sized board to use in a variety of conditions, whether you're charging the shore break at your local beach or having some holiday fun in average summer waves. This brilliant little board is also perfect for the lightweight beginner or kid new to surfing, the soft slick deck is far safer than the hard surface of a regular fibreglass or epoxy board, and its small size makes it much more manageable and easier to control in crowded summer waves.
