DetailUpdate: As of September 2016, Raspberry Pi Model A+ comes with 512MB RAM, replacing the older Pi A+ version with 256MB RAM. This is the Raspberry Pi Model A+ with 512MB RAM. It is the 'lower-spec' version than the other Pi board. The major differences are it comes with 512MB RAM on board instead of 1GB, single USB 2.0 port instead of four and no ethernet port. It is also significantly smaller in size than the other Raspberry Pi board, except Pi Zero. Why would you consider Model A+? * The cost is lower if you do not need the extras * Lower power consumption making it ideal for battery and solar powered applications.
