Peavey - SP 118 18 inch Subwoofer

The SP 118 Sub is a perfect match as an additional low frequency enclosure for any of the SP Series enclosures. A stand mount is built into the cabinet for ease of adding a supplemental mid/ high speaker that has a matching 35 mm (1-3/8") stand adapter in its base. The recommended pole is Peavey part number 00326530. Excellent sonic performance can be obtained when using a separate crossover that is designed to send frequencies above 125 Hz to the mid/highs, while at the same time sending frequencies below 125 Hz to the SP 1 18 Sub. The crossover filter slope should be a minimum of 12 dB per octave at 125 Hz, and preferably 18 dB per octave for lower crossover frequencies. For maximum versatility for the musician, there are no crossover components within the SP 1 18 Sub cabinet. The two 1/4" jacks are paralleled, one as an input and the other as a thru. The SP 118 Sub enclosure is loaded with an 1801-4 Black Widow woofer. This woofer will provide years of high reliability under the most punishing of low frequency applications.
