They suggested every 3-6 months you clean the sharp nozzles out with a paper clip and then descale the coffee maker with water and vinegar. It worked so I will change my rating back from a 1 to a 4. Update: Not loving this product so much anymore. Visited my dad for the holidays and found out the Keurigs is no longer dispensing water through the K-cup. Very disappointed in this Keurig since my larger Keurig has been working for 6 years. He has only has this Keurig for 8 months! Previous review: My dad loved the Keurigs ease of use.
