Created with the talented, legendary surfboard shaper Chris Christenson, the Jones Storm Chaser Snowboard offers nimble handling and effortless float in the deepest, fluffiest snow. The secret to this board's abilities starts with its shape, namely the ultra-wide waist, massive nose, and tapered swallow tail. These elements combine to pack as much volume as a substantially longer board into a short deck that dances nimbly through trees and makes surf-like turns in powder. Further enhancing float is a 3D-contoured nose that displaces snow like a ship's hull, not only keeping you afloat easily but also enhancing speed in deep snow that might otherwise bog you down. A surfboard-inspired rocker profile rounds out the shaping for maximum float and fun. Jones also added a lightweight and snappy Bamboo Surf core that positions bamboo stringers along the sidecut to help you explode out of powder turns and hold an edge on tracked-out slopes.
