Cold Steel Mizutori (CRANE) Wakizashi

Built to match the originals this katana from cold steel is a great blade for display pieces, collectors or re-enactments. This blade also comes complete with beautifully crafted black lacquered. Made to be traditional the handle has replicated in both design and materials. Measuring 6.5" the handle is made of a high quality ray-skin which has then been tightly wrapped in brown silk cord. This really increases the beauty and original look of the katana. The Blade is 21" long, 7mm thick and forged from Damascus steel. This Carbon steel is very tough and durable making it ideal for this blade material. This steel has been hardened even further with a clay tempered hamon. The Tsuba and Menuki both feature the crane motif which is a symbol of luck, loyalty and strength in japan.
