The leading blade (on operator's left side) feeds its clippings into the trailing blade, so they get recut--resulting in more finely chopped clippings and small windrows when using side discharge. The 1-piece, cast aluminum deck is virtually indestructible and backed up with a limited lifetime warranty. If it fails, for any reason, DR Power will replace it. 3-in-1 operation includes bagging, mulching and side-discharging. Bagger and mulcher plugs are included, and the bagger holds up to 2 bushels, so you spend more time mowing and less time emptying. The powerful DR OHV engine delivers 10.6 ft./lbs. gross torque (@2500rpm per SAE J1940), which is plenty of power to handle the extra mowing width.
