Currently stepping the temperature down as its truly hot and stays that way. I have come to believe the tank is very well insulated. Hot water lasts a long time. Granted, it is just my wife and I, however, you can take, 'quot;forever showers'quot;, and not run out of hot water. Real easy to install too. The whole job took less than 2 hours, and that included draining the old tank, moving it out of the way and hooking up the new one. No sweat fittings involved. It'#39;s 51 inches high and perfect for installing in a cellar with a low ceiling. No electric to hook up. Turn off the gas, get some gas sealant goop for the fitting, and you'#39;re pretty much ready to go. If you are uncomfortable doing the job yourself, get an experienced plumber/handyman you trust with an up front estimate, that is fair for a couple of hours. It'#39;s really that simple to install. I reused the same exhaust to the chimney, and assuming you are replacing a like gas fired hot water heater with this one, it'#39;s all easy.'nbsp;LessStefan · Review provided by Home DepotAll Reviews
