The wait didn't make a difference with me because I was intending to install it into an older car that was, at the time, having engine restoration / repair done to it. The battery provides the cranking power sufficient for an '85 Jaguar XJS HE v12. I was hoping this battery would work as opposed to the red top, since I've upgraded the sound system in the car.
