The thermoblock heating system provides faster heat-up times than conventional coffee machines and ensures that the water is freshly heated for each beverage. Before brewing the Micro 1 uses the intelligent pre-brew aroma system developed by Jura to moisten the grounds and extract the maximum flavor and aroma from your chosen coffee beans. The Micro 1 has a single bean hopper which holds 4. 4 ounces and a ground coffee bypass chute for options such as decaf. The front of the machine has a stylish black panel that will look great in any room, and an intuitive graphic display for simple coffee preparation and maintenance. The display makes it easy to choose from 3 individually customizable pre-programmed beverages, each of which can have its size and coffee strength adjusted to your preference, for the perfect cup every time. Cleaning is simple with the integrated rinsing, cleaning and descaling programs as well as the easy to remove drip-tray. This machine also uses a CLEARYL filter cartridge and has an adjustable water hardness feature so you will not have to descale it as often as standard machines. The zero-energy power switch ensures the machine will not use energy on stand-by, making it very energy efficient. Included with this machine is a CLEARYL water filter, cleaning tablets and an Aquadur test strip for water hardness.
