    Hancock's Perennial Ryegrass was developed to provide a lush, quick establishing lawn for both permanent and temporary plantings. Because resources for maintaining professional turf continue to be limited, choosing the right variety is critical to maintaining healthy turf. Recent results from the National Turf Evaluation Program put Hancock's Perennial Ryegrass in the top ten for salt and wear tolerance, with strong resistance to most common turf diseases. Hancock forms a beautiful, dark green turf, with early spring greenup, fine leaves and excellent density. Hancock's Perennial Ryegrass is designed for areas where reclaimed water will be used for irrigation. Applied straight, or using Hancock in blends and mixes, is a beneficial enhancement for improving marginally salt tolerant turf. It is excellent for use on golf course tees and fairways, sports venues, parks and home lawns. Drag area to loosen and level any hard or uneven spots if necessary. Apply a slow-release starter fertilizer at the recommended rate of 250 lbs. per acre. Fertilize three times a year for best results. Broadcast seed at recommended rate. Drag or roll lightly to cover the seed no more than 1/4 in. below surface.
