Side Mount Control Box This is a brand new Genuine OEM BRP Johnson / Evinrude (not aftermarket!) remote control assembly with trim and tilt in the handle. The remote control handle has the ability to be used in a left or right configuration. Included with the control is a key switch, warm-up lever, neutral lock, warning horn, throttle friction adjustment,t in gear prevention switch and emergency lanyard. This control will work with 1996 and later outboards. Older outboards from 1973-95 can use this control box but would be required to hard wire your existing boat harness to this control box matching wire colors together and using heat shrink connectors to prevent moisture from entering the connection.
